We're ADEA Foundation

Rooted in Community. Built for Impact.

ADEA Foundation began with one question: How do we support the Rombo community while equipping young people to be the Maasai of the 21st century, grounded in tradition and prepared for progress?

Since 2003, we've partnered with Maasai leaders to respond to shifting realities: loss of land, devastating droughts, economic pressures, and cultural transition. Together, we've built schools, trained youth, mentored leaders, and responded to hunger with dignity and innovation.

How TalkTime Works

TalkTime bridges the gap between volunteers and Maasai students through simple, free 40-minute one-on-one video calls that build English fluency and confidence. Our platform, powered by ADEA Foundation and PMD-Rombo, offers two volunteer paths—General and Student Volunteers—both providing the same meaningful mentorship experience. As a mentor, your patience, encouragement, and open-ended questions help students feel valued while opening doors to new opportunities through focused conversations that support the KKIS Program's mission to keep students in school.
